Lock Haven, PA (July 17, 2020) -- Several dozen people gathered at Main and Jay Streets for a Black Lives Matter protest. The protesters then marched down Main Street, Bellefonte Avenue, East Church Street and Jay Street.
Local media reports earlier in the week warned of a an organized counter-protest called Operation Backyard consisting of "patriots from across the community coming together to protect small town America from being infiltrated by the Marxist moment, Black Lives Matter." But, only about nine counter-protesters showed up and stood across the street occasionally shouting at protesters.
