Black Lives Matter NEPA United Movement - July 11, 2020
Wilkes-Barre, PA (July 11, 2020) -- Several dozen people marched to Public Square in Wilkes-Barre with Black Lives Matter NEPA United. The event opened with a prayer and the Black national anthem (Lift Every Voice and Sing). Then a dance group performed a routine to Trey Songz’s “2020 Riots: How Many Times” which was followed by speakers including Wilkes-Barre Mayor George, Luzerne County District Attorney Stephanie Salavantis, and PA State Representative Eddie Day Pashinski.
